Today I read a very interesting aticle about YAO MING It is called the center of attention. The author tracked the Yao Ming’s growing up in NBA and analyzed his potential economic value in international market. He noticed that Yao Ming is not only the future of Houston Rockets, NBA, but also the most important value of Yao is to open the wallets of China's 1.3 billion consumers. Yao Ming did not realize that how much money he could make before he was picked by Huston Rockets as NO.1 selection of NBA draft. He needs time to get used to NBA as a rookie, international player. Also, adjusted him as a NBA player and helped his team improving a lot; meanwhile, beside his efforts their parents were also helping him. Yao Ming not only helped Houston Rockets in achievement, but also helped them in finance. Where there is fame, charm and potential, money usually follows. The Rockets have seen single-game ticket sales rise 55% (group sales are up 100%) since Yao arrived. Establishment of team Yao indicates that it is time to discover Yao’s potential economic value. To help turn Yao into an elite pitchman, Zhang recruited John Huizinga, deputy dean of faculty at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, sports agent Bill Duffy and a marketing director, Bill Sanders. In September Team Yao, as the group is known. Yao Ming is a wide-world known NBA basketball player from China; in addition, china has the largest population the world; also it has the largest market. Apparently, there is a very essential relationship between NBA, Yao Ming, and China. Moreover, in this case author express his idea implicitly; that is Chinese market has a huge potential, it as huge as Yao Ming.

The Crusades

I played a game recenty which is called mediaeval: total war. It was really awesome!!. I will say that it is a really good combination because I am a super fan of both game and history; in addition, there is a part of mediaeval history that I have never covered before, the crusades. I was really curious about the crusade because history can reflect the polities, the religions, and even the hot world issues such as what the hell is going on out here in the middle east. All of them are very attractive to me. First off all, I was shocked becaue there were eight times crusades between 1095-1270. The purpose of eight times crusades was simple. They fought so enthusiastic for the "god" and their bishop, who did not give a damn about his people life. "Killing a heathenry is not a murder the bishop said that" We can tell that how craze those people are at that time. The Europe was truly in a chao and darkness. Second, the war between the christians, the muslims ,and the jews has begain for almost 1000 years ago. They were killing each other just becuase all of them believed in the different "god". Basing on my good understanding of world war history and research, I believe that trigger of any war which happened between the christians, the muslims ,and the jews is not faith but interests. The religions act as a propagandistic tool. It is so popular and powerful that nobody can disobey. unfortunately, people have never realized that since they were being used. LOL That is why I am a antitheist. As conclusion, I really recommend my friends to learn some history stuffs It's god damn awesome!!!!

Houston Rockets is a piece of XXXX!!!

Personally, I really heat those NBA temas such as Dalls mavericks Utah Jazzs and Hounston Rockets. unfortunately, two of them were really lucky. Only Rocket lost 5 of 6 games last week. There were some stupid "experts" foretelling that Houston Rocket will win the westen-conference!!!even the NBA championship!!!That is the most ridiculous prediction I have ever heard. Some Rocket fans may argue with me that how can you be sure that. I have several reasonable explanations. First, eventhough Rocket has changed their coach and has made some big trades, their lineup still have some major peoblems. Second, the coach who is named Rick Adelman, who is famous by using Princeton offence during his coaching career, highly encourage his players using princeton offence. However the problem is the princeton offence acquired passing game offence in which players must be fast and not too high, which Rockets can not fully fulfhill this tactics because of Yao ming the point gard has to wait until he is in his position; thus, the purpose of princeton offence is crewed up. on the other hand becaue adelman highly admire princeeton offence, their defence has become a serious problem. Their weekness has exposed in the last 5 games that they lost. I really want to ask those experts if they will never pay attenation on their defence, how will they survive in the play-off. Some people will say that the offence is the best way to defence, but In my opinion only good defence can insure victory. For example,San Antonio Spurs is the best example. Eventhough there are not some super star plays, ecah one plays key role not only in defence but also in offence. Their strongpoints are defence and steady-going tactics. It is no doubt that they are going to win!!!hahahahahaha, so Houston Rockets sux!!!wohahahaha

My exchange life in Canada

I was a member of exchange program. This is ours traditional exchange program in BCCSC. Our school had sent many exchange students to Canada for every year and we had built a good relationship with Canadian education system. The New Brunswick is one of the most successful participator in those Canadian provinces. In order to improve ours English speaking skill. We were sent to three different cities in New Brunswick, Riverview the place where I lived and study for four months. It was a long journey to Riverview it took me almost one day’s time and over 12 hours were spent on the air plane. After hard day’s journey my exchange life began. The Riverview is a town and has small population, it next to the Moncton which the third biggest city in New Brunswick, at first I thought that the Riverview is the uptown of the Moncton but it not they are two independently cities. Although Riverview is a small town but I like it very much because it is quiet and safe and not too many traffic the environment also great the air is very fresh because the large forest. It is a great place to grown. The Canadian are very kindly and friendly those feeling are given to me when I just arrived. All of the exchange student had a host family to live in and getting a good care. I was very lucky because I lived in a warm family as same as my real home there are only two people in my family two old people they are both over 60 years old. When they were told that I will leave soon and they said they will miss me. We studied in Riverview high school. There is only one high school in this area so ours school had a lots of students. Ours course in RHS are not very mach but I needed have the same course for four months! I couldn’t believe it! But I learnt lots of useful thing from Canadian course and also met many good Canadian friends. I was very excited. The time goes fast now we will go to leave here there are so many things and peoples to miss, I would miss my host family I would miss my Canadian teacher I would miss my partner and I would miss everybody who lives in this town and give them best wishes.

During my holiday I watched a series it called band of brothers it told me a story of people can develop a relationship of brother during the wartime. The man of E company fought their life against German Nazi. They saw how their brothers died just before them. They were from different city, but the war had put them together and made them brothers of the army. The sitcom showed a picture of war, its cruelty and coldness; however, the film also told us a beautiful story of brotherhood and friendship. I love series because it had created many characters that are very common, not far away from us real life, yet they are also uncommon in the sense that they were ready to give their life to the liberation of mankind. After enduring basic training at Camp Toccoa, Georgia, Easy Company heads to Aldbourne, England to prepare for the invasion of Europe. In few the weeks before D-day, Easy Company heads to Uppottery, England to prepare for dropping into Europe. In Toccoa, Ga., 1942, a new group of young men begins voluntary training to become members of one of America's newest military force - the paratroopers. As training progresses Lt. Winters (main character) , a junior officer who's earned the respect and admiration of Easy Company. On September 17th, 1944, Easy Company drops into German-occupied Holland for Operation “MARKET-GARDEN” (very famous). A group of fresh paratrooper joins Easy Company after drop into German-occupied Holland for Operation Market-Garden. Easy and a cluster of British tanks are attracted from a nearby town by the best German force(SS- Schutzstaffel) The Allied plan to enter Germany through Holland and end the war before Christmas fails. I could remember how many times that I have watched this series before because it is really worthy to watch hundred of times!!!

A Game Brought a revolution in PC's Hardware

New generation new blood:
Games are closely relative to hardware; also it has already become a motivation that push people to update their computer system in order that they can fullfill the requirement of the games. Hardware manufacturers have never stopped improving the performance of their products especially in graphic card. On October 31 2007, graphic manufacturer NVIDIA released their new generation gaphic processing unit that is based on G92 cell. Meanwhile, a german game studio CRYTEK released the next generation game CRYSIS. CRYSIS was designed for DirectX 10.0, which is bran-new application programming interfaces for handling tasks related to multimedia, especially game programming and video. It can provide people a different visual experience that have enve had before, and it will break the original concepts of the game. However, the bad news is that the requirement of CRYSIS is extremly excessive which normal people will not fullfill the requirement. Although there are some problem in game requirement and compatibility, it is still a landmark of new generation in both games and hardware. As conclusion the CEO of CRYTEK said that" Form now on, there are only two different kinds of computers in the world, those which can run CRYSIS or those which can not".

I wanna play a game Wohahahah!!!

The movie Saw 4 was released last friday, and it was a really good news to me because I am super fan of that movie. Saw series are kinds of horror movie, but the most attractive part is the scenario of the movie. Saw 1,2,3 and 4 were connected closely; in anthor word, if you have ever seen those episodes before, you may not understand what's going on out here. I was trying to convince somepeople to go to movie with us; neverless, only Allen and some friends of mine went to movie togethere. It seems that Allen was confused because he has never seen that movie before, yet I could explain some deatials to him well becasue I am a pro here wohahaha!! That movie was really good I highly recommond all of you guys to watch that movie form Saw1 to Saw4 after that I am sure tha you will have a good understanding about one's life. I love this movie is not only because its polt but also because some meanings that hid behind the movie itself. Also I like this dialogue from leading actor "I wanna play a game".

Panzergrenadier

I have just finished my essay. It was really a hard job because I have never written a essay about architecture. Now I would like to share something interesting. In world war II there was one arm of services was call panzergrenadier. They were the best of the best in the amry; also they were elite. It may confuse us, and people will ask why they call them panzergrenadier? It was a long story. In world War I, Germany joined the war and there was a kind of army services were called grenadier. Grenadiers have a large amount of grenaders and they provide fire support. Soldiers will be prond of being a member of grenader at that time. Although Germany lose the war, military and Germany people wanted to save that name as a honour. Later in 1939, world war II broke out. Even though they have better equipment then before, people didn't foeget that name. Because of German army was famous for their tanks or"panzers"; therefore, they combined those two different army services togethere which was called panzergrenadier. We can imagine that the combination of elite grendaiers with panzer!!!

Long Weekend#2 Again!

Hi, everybody how was your long week end. I know this entry is too late for that, but I still want to say something. Before expressing my feeling, I want to ask you guys a question. Do you think your physical strength is descending while you are getting old?? I do and that came true!!! I Have no idea what's wrong with my body, but it is true and it happened last one month. Last staurday, me and my roommate decided to take some exercise then we went to the red gym in the University and played basketball. At that time I was playing basketball in a good mood. However, unfortunately, my good mood was changed in the next few hour. I met some people, who I have played basketball with them one year ago, also there were some new rookie students, who I have never seen them before, and played baskteball basketball together. At the first one hour I was going well, got some big shots, something like that, but I after I have played for one hour I was feeling like daydreaming, and I could not even deaden that rookie; meanwhile, I screwed every shots! even the lay up!!Then my nightmare started. The rookie, who I defened, was keeping scoring on my heard. I was trying to use smoe petty actions, and it worked, but it could not stop him......then my legs were cramping, and my legs are still sore till now och! Shame on me!!! If that happed one year ago, I am really sure I will give him a big block!!!

What a wonderful long weekend! Durning my holiday I red a essay in English named "In Memory of Norman Bethune", was written by Mao Cedong AKA "Chairman Mao". The book talked about a Canadain who named Norman Bethune sacrificed himself in China durning WWII. There is not any North American who is as famous as Dr. Norman Bethune in China. His name is well known virtually to every household in China. He is a real hero and supper star in China and widely admired by Chinese people. The essay by Chairman Mao "In Memory of Norman Bethune" has become elementary reading in the schools, from universities down to the elementary levels. Word was passed from mouth to mouth among people of this amazing Canadian doctor who shared his clothes, his food, and even his blood with wounded Chinese soldiers. He had become a great hero in China. Dr. Bethune had become the God of Guardian of Chinese soldiers. “Attack, Dr. Bethune is with us.” They shouted when they jumped out of trenches. Late in October 1939, while operating on a wounded soldier, Bethune cut his left hand, and this was not the first time he cut his hand during the operation. He was sure this would heal soon. But this time, the cut was deadly. As a Chinese, I highly admire dr. norman, who gave us a hand at the eleventh hour. I think he is the biggest hero in the Canada!!! And we will never forget him because he contributions not only encourage our people durning the war but also incarnate the unselfish internationalism of him. By the way I have just updated my PC and installed Vista as my OS. It is really cool!!!

I'am sick

My last weekend was screwed because I caught a cold. I have no idea how I caught a cold. I have been healthy since last year, and I spent my national day with disease. On October 1, 1949; despite so many obstacles, we established the People's Republic of China. At that time the condition was extremely inclement, nobody helped us, and American and his flunkies were kept attacking us from anywhere. Their troops even invaded our neighbor! Obviously, they have ulterior motives, but sometimes things happened just out of their control. We have made through the hardest time eventually. I wrote this because I am very proud of my motherland. I am optimistic about our country’s future, yet we do have some major issues, which is very urgent that we have to solve; for example, problems of Tibet, Taiwan, and Sudan. Our government has never evaded those problem not only we have done nothing wrong, but also it is a powerful strike back to a country, which have required double standard for long time. I do not want to talk more about politics; however, the media made me to express my feeling in this case. In my opinion I think media should not be a kind of tools that was controlled by the polity. In summary, I really want to say STFU to them. Thanks.

Resident Evil：Extinction

Last week end I was extremely bored even thought I have a lots of carking homework. I decided to save them for Sunday. I lay on my bed. When I was killing my spare time on online, I just looked webpage at random. Suddenly I was told by a friend of mine that the movie Resident Evil 3 had released. I was super fan of Biohazard(Resident Evil) not only movie but also game. Actually I like the game better than movie. In North American and Europe people call that Resident Evil, it sounds weird. In Asia we call it Biohazard. Unfortunately, they have to use that weird name because there is a famous music band named Biohazard and they have copyright in North-American and Europe. I was wondering that is there any connection between bio hazard and resident evil? What a stupid name. That is shame on the game. The movie was just ok. It always scared me especially in the dark and cabined scene. I highly don’t recommend people, who have heart disease, watch that movie; otherwise, you will die in any minutes LOL. I believed that Resident Evil 4 will be shot in the future. Let us see what is going to happen^_^. By the way the game Biohazard 5 will be released by the end of 2007, it is gonna be fun!

MakeＡBeautiful Dream Come True

I wrote this paragraph because I moved to downtown recently, and I live in a apartment, which is next to the railway. It reminds me that CPR-Canadian pacific railway was bulit by Chinese works. Between 1860 and 1870, besides mining, early Chinese pioneers also worked on many public projects in British Columbia and Vancouver Island. In 1879, the construction of Canadian Pacific Railway was started; more than 1500 experienced Chinese railway workers came to Canada to help build the railway, the number of the Chinese worker increased to 7000 when the construction was finished. When the early Chinese immigrates stepped on the land of Canada, they not only faced a beautiful country but also hardships and obstacles: they didn’t speak English, they worked longer but got paid less then white workers, they were facing anti Chinese feeling although they contributed greatly to the development of Canadian society. Even while facing many hardships, the Chinese immigrates still follow the traditions that they had followed for generations. They did not forget their family and continue to send money back faithfully. Like most new immigrants, many Chinese also dreamed of some day returning to their native land for retirement. They dreamed of being united with their families. They dreamed that their children would never suffer the hardship that they had been through. They dreamed that one day they would call Canada their home. Although the days were long and hard, and the night was cold and lonely, they continued to hope that their dreams would come true.

History Again!

I am getting tired of attending history lecture so I chose geography of world affairs. I thought there were something new for me, but there were not. Instead, the instructor delivered a lecture about European history, yet I really loved it^_^. The first half of the lecture was about the ancient European history, and in the second half the discussion was based on the modern European history. I attended the entire lecture. The instructor first talked about the earliest cultures such as Greece and Rome that appeared in Mediterranean Sea region. He also discussed not only the causes, which led to the collapse of Roman Empire, but also the significant impacts of several important events in European history such as Industrial Revolution, WWI, WWII and the Cold War. This is my fourth time to attend a formal University lecture; I have attended another three lectures like this one before. However, this lecture proved to be the most difficult one. Obviously, there were too many buzzwords in each field of study, and we are not able to know them all. Even though I am familiar with the topic and the terms on the history, I still had some problems comprehending the lecture, this is not only because of the talking speed of the professor, but also his accent. I think attending more lectures like this will be helpful for me to adapt to the university life and the environment more quickly.

Saving Private Ryan

I was so bored recently; therefor, I watched some old movies. The most impressive one was called Saving Private Ryan. This story was written by Robert Rodat, and the movie was directed by Steven Spielberg. Tom Hanks played leading actor in this movie. The story told about a private, whom is named Ryan, lost all of his brother in the combat. There was a policy at that time which protected those families that have more then two children who were sent to the army. If any one of them died in the combat the rest will be sent back to his hometown. In this story, private Ryan has two older brother died during the fighting in order to protect his family from losing too many children. He has to be sent back home. There was a squad leaded by Captain John H. Miller(Tom Hanks) to search him and to bring him back. In my opinion, they should be considered as heroes. Even though they knew that they were heading to the front, noboy fell back. The drop scene was not bad, at the nick time of the last scene the reinforcement have arrived; however, most of people died including John H. Miller. They sacrificed themselves not only for Ryan, but also for courage and responsibility. They accomplished their duty, and they are the real heroes!

Major essay!!! I love gaming system

Today we have finished the first draft of chronological essay. I wrote about the computer. As you guys know I am very insterested in computer relative stuffs. I felf very self-confindent when I was writing the essay. This is a very important essay it worth 15%!!!. If this time I fail or I do not need to put any effort on the rest of the studying, so I paid extra attendtion to this essay, and I chose a topic that I am acquainted. ok let me talk about my topic. My topic is about building up your personalized computer system as knowen as DIY. I posted a blog before about the DIY but this time was different from the one I did on the blog. In my essay I introduced the hardwear that a computer concludes, and also two different opinions for two different groups of people. The people who are crazy for computer games and who want to do some typing or text editing works. For the game player the high performance graphic card and CPU are necessary; on the other hand, the fancy gaming fact or high performance graphic fact are not needed for those poeple who are not instested in 3D game. Even though the gameing system may cost more money, people are willing to pay for it. I am the one who are will to pay for the gaming system. Personally, I fall in love with xbox360 and PS3, but I love computer even more than those vedio game. Without me my computer is nothing; however, without my computer I am nothing.

I am going to find a place to live or I will become a homeless lol！！！

I highly recommend those people who can apply for the student residence try to apply for the student residence because it is really economical plan which you can attain from university. Unfortunately, as a old student we can't apply for the student residence anymore. In oder to let new students to live in the student residence as soon as they arrive at the university, they need to kick us out off residence. There are not only lots of advantages but also lots of disadantages to live in student resident. For advantages, we do not need to worry about the furnitures. Residence service provides some basic furnitures, such as table, bed, mattress and fridge; on the other and, if you are a liberalist you should live where you are. For disadvantages, the freedom might be a problem. If you like listening music by using big stereo, you should be careful because you are besieged by so many annoying people; more over, you have to crop with those "lovely" people who are adjacent. After you read my opions, how is your feeling?

That a day!!

Today was a “nice” day everything was perfect except the weather. I got up at 11 o’clock and had a wonderful breakfast. After that, as usual I opened my computer and did some daily routine such as check e-mail, read some news, and etc. When I was checking the e-mail, I was told by post office that I need to pick up a package, which I ordered form internet store. The weather was good neither too hot nor too cold; therefore, I decided to go to pick up my package. After I picked up my package, suddenly the weather altered. It was starting to fall hail with heavily rain! Unfortunately I did not bring my umbrella! When I arrived at home, my t-shit has been wet by the heavily rain. Eric sent a message to tell me if I want to go out and eat or not. I was starved at that time. The weather turned back to normal. Then I went to downtown and had a nice dinner with Eric and Ella. That a day!

Do you know something about World War I ?

I attended a lecture that based on the War World I history, and I really enjoyed it. The first half lecture was about the new technology in World War I, and the second half lecture was about the spring/summer offensive in 1915. I did not attend the second half lecture. The instructor lectured on new weapon that appeared in the World War I such as machine gun, artillery, and motorized vehicles. She also lectured about some defensive tactics that were used by both sides in World War I. At the last of the first half lecture, she emphasized that “the defensive is most important in WWI" . This was my third time to attend a lecture. Before this lecture I attended two lectures, which I was ignorant about. I found that to attend a lecture in your study of field or your interests may help you to comprehend the lecture easily. Obviously, there were too many buzzwords in each study of field, and we are not able to know them all. Even though I have already been familiar to those buzzwords since long time ago, I still had some problem listening lecture not only the speed of talking, but also the accent. I think I should attend more lecture in order to make me comfortable in this kind of university lecture.

My computer drove me to crazy!!!

Today is a bad day for me becasue some thing wrong with my lovely comtuter. My cpu always works in 100% lord when I was searching information by using IE. I didn't know why, and I was trying to figure that out, trial and error. Finally, I realized that the problem came form IE plug-in, which one called Adobe Flash Player. suddenly, another problem came out that is my IE can not display flash without that plug-in. If I keep using that my PC will be extremely slow. It is also a big burden to my cpu. What shuold I do!!!

DIY is really cool.

As most of you know I am interested in basketball, also, I am interested and crazy in computer and history. Now I am going to tell you which your best choice is or not. It should feast your eyes. Most people prefer to buy PC through Computer Company such as DELL, APPLE, and HP etc. In my opinion, I would like to DIY my PC, which means do it by yourself. If you want to get your money's worth and buy more powerful PC, I suggest you DIY. I know most people are not good at selecting computer hardware. Don’t worry about that I am going to give you a choice. If you are crazy in playing computer game, you should focus on graphics card (GPU), processor (CPU) and Memory （RAM）. We used to call it graphic card, but everything is changing; now we call that GUP. GUP is an abbreviation of graphic processor unit. Depending on your demand, GUP can be very expansive or very cheap. For the game lover you have to spent more money on it. CPU is an abbreviation of central processor unit. The price also depends on your demand. The double core is most popular CPU in the world; on the other hand, it is also very expansive. RAM is abbreviation of random access memory, it is your system's backup force, without good RAM your system will extremely slow when you are runnig some big programs such as game.If you want to play game in high quality.GPU,CPU and RAM are all necessary. To build a complete computer system is too hard to tell by writing a blog. I just give you some suggestion if anyone who is interested in this area we can have a nice discussion because I don't want to talk too much in Blog, it is too complex^_^.

Spurs Takes 2-1 Series Lead

My famous basketball team in NBA is San Antonio Spurs. This team is considered the best basketball team in the world. They won the NBA championship in 1999, 2003 and 2005. I have a confidence that Sprus is going to win 2007 NBA championship. The season is over, now they are in the play-off. Phoneix Suns, which Spurs contests, is also my famous team in NBA. I used to watch Sun's game in Phoneix three years ago. I like that city very much. I am sitting on the fense, and neither on the Spurs's side nor on the Sun's side. Actually I want both of them to win the NBA championship. Phoneix Suns was a very poor team, but they had made some effort and improved themself in last two seasons. Now they are the best offensive team in the league. Those two teams have different characteristic. Spurs pays more attention to the defence, and Suns pays more attention to the offence, so rest of the game will be insteresting. If each of them can win four games in this series, they will contest with another team in the final of the westen conference. Which team is going to be NBA champion? Time will tell.
